Upper and lower 13 oz. for "stripped upper and lower"and that was the company weight spec as of August 1, when they finalized.
For comparison, 2A Balios Lite 7075 set 12.6 oz, V7 LR Enlightened 2055 set 12.2 oz, in 7075 it is 12.6oz, so this is within an ounce of the two lightest 7075 or stronger sets out there. The Battle Arms Development Lightweight 7075 set is 13.1 oz. Noreen makes 6061 reciever sets which is a lighter, but weaker material. 6061 is 10% lighter than 7075 but only 2/3 the strength. This puts the Ascend Armory 7075 set right in the half ounce window of the three best known 7075 sets. Their reciever was also designed to be compatible with any rail. |

Very very nice indeed - wow!
Personally, I use a nice simpler sub $120.00 Noreen billet upper/lower set irrespective its weight (no FA). |
