Attached File Attached File Attached File my mil spec selectors arrived today and is so much better then the og that came with the arc-fire. mostly because my finger doesn’t slip off of the mil spec like it did the og. if i had to find 1 complaint it would be that i wish the the screw was flush with the selector but honestly i can fix that myself. now if they would just make a non ambi version or part to make it non ambi. |

Got them. The ARC-Fire, with Geissele, lever blocker, and enhanced selectors is officially the best FRT on the market. It represents a very healthy investment, but is well worth owning at least one. I hope AS Designs considers making these selectors an included option for their ARC Fire, without spending an additional 30 bucks. Attached File Attached File |

So the MP5 lower kit for PTR9 seems to be at a different state than the AP5 and others that are listed as "rev 2". Can someone confirm if there are other updates planned for the PTR kit? Also, the PTR kit says not yet compatible with G$ triggers and a part will be made in the future to allow use. Is that the lever blocker that's listed elsewhere on the site? |

I apologize if this has been covered, but I’m new to arc fire… I cut my G SSA with a SS jig I printed. I’m able to get my semi working and feels like factory, with 2 stage working great. The “issue” is when I put It in FRT mode the trigger resets as it should, but it’s super hard trigger pull. I’m guessing like 10lbs. Is a hard trigger pull normal for FRT? Or should I shave Off more trigger on the FRT side? Also, how can I get Mil spec selectors and be one of the cool kids? |

Solution: Lightly sand the rounded corner of the trigger with 220-grit sandpaper. Only take off a little material, it shouldn’t take a lot to get it running smoothly. MAKE SURE you keep the round shape on the corner. After function tests pass, we suggest using 320-grit, 400-grit, and possibly one more higher grit to polish the corner without removing more than a surface amount of material. |

I didn’t see that under the FAQ section! Thank you! It didn’t take much. Like 3-4 passss with 220g then polished to 600g. The trigger is perfect now, in both semi and arc!! Thanks for the heads up on the selectors too |
| Snagged the precut trigger along with the kit as soon as it dropped. Got it finally installed today and took it to the range. Does not function. Swaped it to another gun, and manually dry cycled it and found the hammer will not release after the second round. It becomes pure semi. Emailed the site. There were a few other issues too. |

| Update on my binding function check issue I have with all of my batch 1 ARC fires, I ordered another one this batch and it just came in, does not have the binding issue. I placed the precut trigger in a batch 1 setup and no binding leading me to believe some triggers in batch 1 were not properly cut potentially. I reached out to ASD about my findings. Bummer it took me ordering a later sample to find out though. |

| Personally I wouldn’t use the jig, you can but you should very lightly sand and install and test. Make sure you install and function test after every sanding. It’s so easy to sand too much then your trigger is useless for super safety. Take it from someone who didn’t do this for my first trigger and over sanded. You can’t add more material. I hit it with high grit sandpaper and a dremel for a couple passes and tested and 1 pass at a time until it was mostly good with a hard trigger pull then I polished it with even higher grit a pass or 2 just to make it nice and shiny and made sure trigger felt good. |

@jclendineng what binding were you experiencing? I dont want to dig through 16 pages. I'll get a string of two, then it'll stop and the trigger will lock up and i have to manually cycle the gun, eject the round, and then it'll fire 1. Rinse and repeat. |

Just got mine today from the 12/19 batch. So far very happy!!!! Installed and function checked fine. Will soon test with a 5.56 upper and appropriate springs/buffers, but for today I took a 16" 300Blk suppressed upper that I know cycles subs well. Loaded 3 rds in a mag and it zipped through them. Then loaded 5 more, same thing. Way cool! Setup: 16" 300 Blk Upper w/Suppressor Ambi ArcFire w/MilSpec Levers (ordered these after I ordered the ArcFire) Nemo Buffer Spring (made by Nemo for 300blk Subs...it's a weak one, but I know it has previously cycled this upper just fine) Spikes T2 Buffer Geiselle SSA-E (Pre-Cut, ordered from Deez Nuts) |

| I just wrapped up with my first function test, and semi is as smooth as can be, but the ARC setting is a bit of a firm pull in comparison. I will be taking your advice and doing some 220-grit passes on the rounded side tomorrow to get it working right. I will most definitely be taking it one pass at a time to make sure that I don't end up with a $300 paper weight, haha. It seems that I got overconfident in hand-finishing it with 600-grit this early on lmao. I noticed how deep ASD took @Jeeps-And-Guns triggers, and mine is nowhere near that yet, so I will keep working at it until it functions smoothly as a unit. ^_^ |
| Not sure how I didn't notice this with the install of my first one...but the long lever can only be on the left. I just got a second one in for my wife's AR and it is setup for lefty use. I wonder if AS Designs will ever offer the stock selector in a long version for the right side? |

The 30 dollar mil spec selector "upgrade" can be purchased in either "left long right short" or "both long" configuration. |

| So I have a ARC fire setup in which the BCG binds only going half way back when charging the rifle with the muzzle pointing down 50% of the time. Muzzle pointed to the sky it functions flawlessly 100% of rhe time. Vertical it will bind about 25% of the time. I need help because ASD doesn't get back with you for a very long time. It is a Billet FCD/SOLGW ambi M16 pocket cut lower. It has a A5 buffer setup. It has a correctly cut SSA-E trigger a d it has a ASD lever blocker. It doesn't matter what upper and BCG i use. I have 4 uppers that are cut correctly to fix the BCG binding and I had to do that for the cross bolt super safety and as long as I have a cut upper all those work 100% with the cross bolt SS. With this ARC fire nothing works like it should. I have not even shot it yet because I know its just going to bind and malfunction every 4th round or so. What do I need to do? I thought about using a carbine spring setup but that would suck plus I would have to buy a carbine buffer and spring because out of the 10 lowers i have only 2 have carbine buffer tubes and both of those have a Armaspec setup. I don't own a carbine spring or carbine buffer. In any case. This is a setup that is supposed to work. A5 with Geissele SSA-E & lever blocker and cut upper receiver. I don't know what else to do. Help please. |

Help please. Yea, same issue when down. No issue with muzzle up though. H3 + sprinco red + tuned gas block. System runs well without it. Runs well with it when within a window of angles off the horizontal. Will bind hard when angle somewhat downward. |

I just installed the arc fire by as designs and I love it but I’m having a few issues. 2 specifically. First is the fact I can’t get a constant rate of fire. It’ll fire 5 or 6 rounds as expected at a high rate, then stop. I have to completely let off the trigger to fire anymore. And then it might only shoot 1 or 2 in a semi automatic fashion. Then it’ll shoot 5-6 in that arc fire rapid rate. How can I get it to fire an entire magazine non stop? Next issue, is the rate of fire itself. It seems slow. Anyway I can speed it up? And info on this would be great! Thanks! |

So this is the first time I have shot mine since installing the milspec safety levers. I am now having issues. Before it would run fine, mag dump with no issue. Now in one mag I will have 2-3 stoppages where there is a dead trigger with a live round in the chamber. Nothing has changed other than the selectors. I know the left side lever controls things, so I am wondering if it could be something with them. Both my rifles with ARC-fires are doing this now. |

They are superficial nubs and shouldnt change how it functions. Post a picture on how it looks inside the lower. |

This place sells a three round burst cam for a Super Safety, but recommends use with the ARC-Fire. https://stincusa.com/product/cam-activated-reset-limiter-for-super-safeties |

I’ve read all 16 pages and just want to have some fun. I have a partisan on order from OP but it seems that they are just getting pushed back farther and farther for a ship date. I’ll probably cancel that order. I have several brands of lowers, all have standard “mil spec” trigger kits in them. Rock River, PSA, Anderson, Bushmaster, etc. Is this $250 kit all I need to make it run? How about the $10 lever blocker? Do I need it? Clone correct selector levers are of no interest, I just want to brrrrrt. Attached File |

I don't use the $10 lever blocker. For my cut Geissele triggers used with the Arc Fire, I do use the lever blocker. |

You do not need a lever blocker, that piece is for Geissele triggers. You WILL probably want an H2 or H3 buffer with sliding tungsten weights. |
