Is that what you have installed in your .22 bolt carrier kit? I was running the spring that comes from BB on the upper, but switched to the franklin armory XP spring because I saw a youtube video where a guy had to use one to get his running, and at that time, I was desperate to try anything to get mine running. I still have to old spring so I can easily put it back in. Yea I only just recently got the BB SS trip and only tried it as it came and have not had enough time to adjust it. Sadly I am not going to have enough time to try anything else till most likely the first of the year. Too much work and family stuff coming up for me. |

Got my USPS tracking on 12/12. Checked this morning and it still shows USPS is waiting for the package. Anyone else have a delay in the package being entered in the system, or is it just normal USPS shenanigans? @ASDesigns Any way you can verify the package was delivered to USPS? Thanks |

Of the many FRT equipped ARs I have I've only had to trim the upper on one, a PSA Dissipator. A few passes with a bur bit in my Dremel and it was gtg. |

To add to this, I have not cut the uppers on any of my small frame FRTs, including Hoffmans, Atrius, Cornfire, and ARC-Fire. Any binding has been cured by dropping quarters down the buffer tube. I did cut the upper on my Grey Market 308, but that was before I knew what the fix actually needed to be. I do not know as I sit here today if the upper cut was necessary. |

| The arc lever was designed to no longer need a cut upper it should work with a standard uncut upper or atleast so far 99% of the reports have been no binding even on uncut uppers. Even the MR556A4 with its abnormal upper that has no relief cut works unmodified with the arc. |

We'll see what live fire is like, but I suspect so, because I prefer 2 stage triggers. The Atrius/Rave is outstanding, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I have some family and friends getting that combo for Christmas.

Originally Posted By JTX23: How are these holding up to the abuse? Also, @ELittlefield How is the Geissele + ARC-Fire combination working out for you? It seems like it could be the best option out there. I am running two ARC-fires with G triggers. One with a G2S and one with a SSA-E. The SSA-E has about 50-100 rounds through it, and the G2S has around 200-300 rounds. No issues. Both work great. Semi auto trigger pull is completely normal and you would have no idea anything has been done to the trigger. Of course in forced reset your not really noticing the trigger pull, but it still works great. I feel like this is the best of both worlds. Still a great semi auto trigger pull, and forced reset. I am eagerly awaiting for them to release the mil-spec style safety levers. The original ones are the only complaint I have, they are a little too smooth and rounded for my liking. They said they are coming out with a milspec style levers. So I am waiting till those come out and will be ordering them for both of mine and then ordering another ARC-fire too. |

| FYI Larue 2 stage works with atrius, it’s what I use. Needs a tiny bit off the rear of the trigger but it runs like a top. My (working) ARC is in a SSAE-X build and also runs like a top. My other 2 ARCs with stock trigger/FCG still experience binding when the hammer is pressed so I have an open email with ASD on it. I may just get a couple more Geissele triggers for them though since they seem to work without binding. |

Roughly 13-14K and still going. We gave Juicey Media an early metal printed sample in 17-4PH and he's at nearly 5K rounds on it. We're gonna do a full burn down video at some point with our FightLite and spare barrel. I think all the breakages we've seen so far have been incorrect installation (most commonly an AR9 that didn't cut the bolt weight) or, less commonly, a heat treat issue on one part that fails almost immediately and we replace it. |

Keep up the good work, guys! Do you think the heat treat issue came from one specific batch, and will not exist going forward? |

That said, this is an area I have done a ton of testing across almost all available FRTs, so I’ll go into a bit more detail. Round count alone means nearly nothing. Really, there are 3 main factors to durability testing any sort of FRT. For one, the biggest factor is trigger pressure. Pretty much any FRT will last extremely high round counts by simply applying as minimal amounts of force on the trigger as possible. This takes nearly all the stress off the reset related parts and can easily push the round counts up way higher. More pressure results in a more realistic test across all types of shooters. Next would be the host used. 10k rounds on 22LR is not even kinda the same as 10k rounds on an AR15. The stress on the parts is significantly different. In the worst case, a MPX, as that platform has been known to kill even the standard mil spec FCGs due to its extremely high carrier velocity. So far, only the Arc and a properly tuned SS can actually hold up to the MPX long term. Even cassette style FRTs have been killed in that platform. Then, lastly of course, the raw round count on top of all these factors how many cycles can some areas take before they fail under the above conditions. The Arc I have abused extensively in an MPX, applying unreasonable amounts of pressure on the trigger that nobody would ever reasonably do, attempting to break it, just for the parts to go literally thousands of rounds with vertically zero wear. I will have a video on this topic out within the next 3 months actually showing proof instead of just high round count claims with no actual proof or information on how the testing was done. |

What trigger for the MPX/MCX do you like best? I have one running in a regular AR with the SSA-E X and like it a lot. For the MCX I'm using a hammer/disconnect/springs from an LWRC I had pulled out, with the Arc Fire supplied trigger. I thought about using an SSA-E x in it too, but wasn't sure how well it would hold up. |

For MCX i use a standard SSAE G$ but only in the LT since it doesn't have then Gen 1 firing pin latch that doesn't work correctly with G$. The MCX has given me zero issues, its really been solid and it doesn't have super bad carrier velocity like the MPX. The MPX on the other hand tho that guns a monster lol it has killed basically every FCG i have put in it asides from the factory MPX FCG that has about a 9 pound trigger pull and the only reason that one has survived is because it has a disconnector shelf that protects the disconnector from the hammer witch also works with the arc and trip setup. I'm somewhere around 9K rounds right now on the MPX and i have replaced so many parts, ill probably never recommend anyone buy this gun unless they really like working on stuff, that said it shoots so soft and is alot of fun to shoot when its not beating itself to death. |

Thank you for your reply. So if I wanted to be best most reliable overall set up for the MCX you would say the AS design cut G SSA MCX trigger with the slip kit? Can a sig factory duo trigger be modified to work with the AS designs safety? |

The only thing i would recommend is just buying a pre cut geissele if you dont already have the geissele because i have seen a fair amount of people mess the cutting part up and the pre cuts should legit be plug and play. |

| I have 2 batch 1 arc fires and they both have side to side play when installed. Like i can push in either side kinda like the hoffman SS but only a very tiny amount, is this normal? They both function test fine but I have yet to live fire them unfortunately its been a crazy busy few months. I have a video but have no idea how to attach it here😅 |

That’s what you’re looking for. Sounds like they are in spec I think it was just the first 10-20? lol I don’t know but it wasn’t many that had a jacked up cam. They may have gotten mixed up from the first batch they was bad that caused ASD to delay the initial launch. I think you’re good to go man. |

Some lowers also have detent holes that aren't perfectly correct and lined up so you want some side to side play, it wont effect function. |
