I am working on a A2 build and the front take down pin has the screw type. I would like to upgrade it to the detent pin type and understand it would require drilling. Does anyone know of a company that would do this service? I checked with ADCO but unfortunately the guy who did it for them has passed away.

M60Joe used to take on that work, but he's retired.

John Thomas at RetroArmsWorks might.

It's been a few years, but I had one drilled at Specialized Armament. They still have it listed on their Shop Services page under "SS501 Machine Lower Receiver for M16 Pivot Pin $95."
