None of my other M3’s have this tab. Just bought another M3 7.62 mag yesterday and it did not have the tab either. Hmmmm

All M3s should.
Per Magpul: "In addition, a redesigned bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine provides increased bolt catch clearance, while an over-travel stop on the spine helps ensure the magazine will not over-insert on compatible weapons." |

I have this same issue on 10rd mags only on my PSA Gen 2. Tried a friends PSA Gen2 lower and same issue. 30 seconds of sandpaper fixed it. It would insert if I slammed it, but would not drop free. Sanding solved both issues. Again, this was only on the 10rd mags.

It looks deliberate. No worries...10 seconds with a dremel will fix it. Was just wondering as I never saw the tab on any other 762 mag before.

Had a 901 for awhile and the factory PMags had the stop. Can't comment further because I sold it and went SCAR.
