I don't even know, TBAC has a barrel length restriction on their Ultra 9 for supers at 8".

Big fan of that bullet

Working on a load with them right now, showing promise with the ladder I ran. 50 yards with a 1x prism sight. Going to try it next with a scope on top.

Snatched this from my LGS yesterday.  Not sure about the practicality, but is should be so quiet with subs once I throw a can on it.  Not sure about optic.  Maybe a LPVO or just an Eotech....  I might want to see how long I can stretch this out.....

that Christensen arms little .300 bolt gun is super cool!  You might consider one of the PA micro prisms for it?

I would probably swap that muzzle brake for a Flash hider of some sort,  or a can if you can go that route obivoulsy

Bought this on a whim to go with my home build. Going to order a Plan B I think to get me by until I can afford a Trash Panda.

Rebuilt it. Again. I'm done. Again. Hopefully for real. The 6" just wouldn't cycle my 180gr subs. I had a shit ton loaded that ran fine in a 9" barrel but I guess not enough pressure for the 6". No way I was pulling all those just to save 3". So back to 9" with a 10.75" rail.

Now it's back to its true AAC MPW glory. Just with a rail swap.

sucks to hear the 6" barrel was giving you problems , the 9" should give you a bit more velocity for the supers though

my 6" barrel has eaten everything from 110 supers to 220 subs and everything in between

Just threw the 300BLK upper together today. Both these pistolas are getting new dedicated lowers built. I just threw them on some lowers I had for other pistols. Going to put a Troy fixed M4 sight up front on the 300. Anybody want to gift me a Cloud Defensive Owl? I think that's the best light mount for this situation. I love the feel with these AR-V handguards. Anybody wanting to use these on a DI gas gun know I had to grind the gas block a lot to fit. I also had to grind the top of the barrell nut some so the gas tube had a clear and clean shot into the upper receiver.

subs aren't to bad as long as your not mag dumping but it can get warm

i usually wear a pair of oakley fire resistant gloves shooting this one or use the vertical grip after a mag or two

it is nice having the rail space and a place to hold

Barrel is a 5.5" I pulled from a Maxim upper. Suppressor is a form 1. I'm using an LWRC UCIW that I slightly cut down to fit a JP Maxim-length SCS. Handguard is an old DD MFR that I cut down and installed a Manta Defense handguard wrap. Only hickup is I'd like to find a way to run a flashlight, but the wrap makes that difficult.

Tested it with some American Eagle 150gr supers and there was a large fireball coming out the end of the suppressor. So either my form 1 can sucks (very possible) or I need to track down some subs to try.

Just cut a small hole in the hand guard wrap where you want to attach the flashlight. Slightly enlarge until the light sits where you want it.

Pretty sick looking little stick.  How much did you have to cut down the UCIW to fit the SCS?  Also, what stock is that?

Thanks! AR15.com - SCS with UCIW I cut off four quarters worth of length and threaded the buffer tube a bit more. Stock is a UTG Pro S4 Optics Planet - UTG Pro S4. Not my favorite stock, and I had to slightly mod both the end of the buffer tube and buttpad to get the stock to collapse fully, but it works for now.

Thanks! finally got the can (gemtech lunar 9) on the BRN-180S and excited to try some subs through it. Used Brownell's AR180 style lower with MI folding brace adapter and a tailhook. Arisaka 300 with malkoff head and surefire switch. Haven't put more than a mag through it due to the pandy/ammo crunch. Can in the long configuration

One blackout to rule them all...

Jk. There are some sick builds in here that have taken advantage of the past decade of innovation. That article in Recoil about John Noveske was the first time I'd ever heard of the round so it's the OG blackout shooter for me. I'm not much of a cloner, but after buying that issue, I knew I had to clone that one.
