When was the SP1 transition from cast FSB's to forged?

S/N 1011 just sold on GB that was cast. From memory, I think that's the highest 1964 S/N I recall seeing.

Does anyone know what the transition S/N is.
(I realize that it's Colt, so it's going to be a transition range...)

ETA- And by the way, (a very nice) #680 just sold on GB for $11,324.00

Well, we can backtrack from this one. NOS in box, unfired, never messed with. Born Nov. 16, 1964. SN 118x. The original owner has a great story how he got it.
M vp barrel with forged FSB.

I will look through my SP1 reference book tonight and see if I can find a definite answer.

That's an incredible SP1, but how was the date determined?
1964 SP1 S/N range is 101 to 2500.
Seems unlikely that more than half the year's production would occur in the last six weeks of the year.

Looks like the changeover is somewhere between 1011 and 118X...

Colt archive research letter. Rifle was born on Nov 16, 1964, and shipped out from Colt on November 20, 1964. Tells where it shipped to as well.

Thanks for the info. Seems reasonable that the "range" of transition is around #1200. Obviously, this is Colt, so there's no hard cutoff date for the variations.
