Not a big deal. At least not to me. I'm gonna shoot them all.....even the ones without the NATO stamp. |

Edited to remove picture and to add something constructive like OH SNAP !

Yeah, it does seem to be good stuff, but if Bass Pro has it for $4.50 a box, and their prices are typically a little high, I'll hold out for a better deal on it. At $238 a case out the door with sales tax, I'll keep buying XM193 for less.

I'll take Wolf until it drops below $150.... Looks like I'll be shooting Wolf for years WIZZO |

Only on ARFCOM could you have so many PICS of some stupid ass ammo!

funny but true |

I just braved the Grand Opening of the new Bass Pro to check this stuff out. Walked out with the only 20 boxes they had for $4.49 a box. Can't see where it's any higher than XM193. Shipping and sales tax are about the same. Lot # WK 80 . Any one know if this frags like LC.

Cougar Ridge is out-of -stock on the Q3131, KYImports has the Q3131A, but is out of the Q3131. |

What he said. Wholesale hunter needs to have this for 150 per thousand. |

I was at Gander Mountain in Indianapolis today and it was $5.49 per box. |

Sweet! I live just about between the Basspro in Harrisburg, and the Cabela's in Hamburg. I'll have to check both places out.

Just got back from the range in Delta Pa., fired off ~200 rounds (lot WH03), seemed to all fire very well, kept 1"-11/2" groups at 100 yards out of my Bushy 16" carbine, also nowhere near the muzzle flash that my usual Q3131A has, don't have a chrono but seemed to be about the same felt recoil, seems fairly clean, I'll stash away the rest of this lot for shtf. Although I have to admit I'll probably keep stocking up on the 3131A when I can find it. All in all this Q3131 seems to be decent ammo imo.

Shop in town just got 10 cases, will check it out this week!----------------Any frag data or info to comfirm same as Q3131A ?
Congrats to W for a 5.56 offering!! |

Which Academy store in OKC did you find it?? I checked the NW and Southside store and couldn't find it. EDIT The Edmond Academy has some boxes but no case-lots. The OKC Basspro has none. |
I went to two in the Dallas area, and bought all they had.
Yee-haw! Most was $3.99, then the price went up today to $4.27. |
Guess Winchester will get my $$$ from now on...switching from XM193
The two Academy stores I went to didn't sell cases of Q3131, only single boxes. Still, $3.99 a box was GREAT! I bought ten more today and the price went up to $4.27. Still Not Bad! |

I gotta know. What's so funny about "oh snap"? |
i saw some at the academy by me for 3.99 but didnt pick none up since i still have a few cases that i havent shot up yet but shortly i might give them a try

All the Win White Box I've seen anywhere lately (and that's been pretty scarce) has been Q3131A. In fact, it's been hard to find ANY OF THAT here in San Antonio until very recently. I've checked my local Academy-even had them check their system for Winchester .223 OR 5.56mm, and they said there were something line 8 BOXES in the entire state. I've even been haunting the new Sportsman's Warehouse on SH 151 and all they have is Q3131A. So where can I find this potentially NATO stuff?
Man, I hope they keep making it. I bet they have sold 20k rounds just to you guys. I sure am glad I live in a small town with an Academy. I bet I’m the only big buyer here locally.
Q3131A is good stuff! I haven't been able to find it anywhere. It's actually IMI packaged in a Winchester box. |
Oh snap! there you forgot it............. |
In 1985 the going rate for Winchester "USA Brand" ammo was $4.00 at box. Twenty years later, twenty-seven cents more isn't too shabby. This is the first newly manufactured, reasonably priced, apparently good quality ammo that I have seen sold locally in quite a while. |
Wierd it used to be 2.99/box back in 1999-2001.(Galyans everyday price) |
