Finished my ADM UIC lower today with a KAC 2 stage trigger (non adjustable), KAC ambidextrous sling mount end plate, and SR-15 E3 upper with Knight's URX3 Rifle Length handguard.

Still trying to think of which optic to run.

My 2nd Silverado came home yesterday.

I noted several differences from my first one.

The URX2 used appears to be a 23375 where the first had a 20549.  The gas blocks are similar but one has a more pronounced "jaw line" where the other is rounded significantly.  They also used a standard castle nut where the other one has a Knight's lock ring at the buffer tube.  I also noted the the upper receiver on this one does not have the Knight's Crest engraved on it like my other one does.  This gun also did not have the scalloped selector on the right side, but I'm unsure if they shipped with different levers as I did not receive the original box with either.  You can also see the silver cerakoted slot-head screw on the bottom one.

Just a few changes that made it even more appealing to me.

Last night I made a handful of changes to my "LPR" clone with included not being banned from the FDE Picture thread

Geno's ad selling me a B5 SOPMOD which is a near perfect match to KAC Taupe couldn't have come at a better time.  I also decided to put the rest of my taupe furniture onto that gun.

There's more then enough in use to show that is zero issue when Installed correctly.

No different than your barrel nut coming loose. I have the 2, 3.1, and 4. Without a doubt, the 4 is the best

Mehhhh im trying really hard to get there. And it is kinda different than the barrel nut, as my barrel my doesn't have all sorts of shit attached to it to multiply torsional torque. Ugh if you buy me one I'll try it out

Your only one with doubts. People actually using them show they are fine. I've never heard of a single story of one coming loose with proper tq.

Doesn't your handguard attach to your barrel nut? Not only is it another point of failure, but it's most likely applying more torque on your barrel than the URX 4 would.

You don't have to like it, but it really is a better rail. If it were inferior I doubt CAG would be using them on their SR-25s

Taking a little skim cut off the back of my rail to get a better fit against the receiver.

Wish I had the skills/resources for something like that. I'm talking myself into a 6.8 spc2 12.5 SBR. I've got a Rainier lower already due to a lapse in self control a few weeks ago...  My bolt, barrel, and URX 3.1 will end up being the expensive part of the build though.

It's really probably a lot easier than you think. When you are getting ready to piece it together, send me a PM, I'd be happy to help you out.

I have a 20" 308 M5 as well and it's about the only gun left that doesn't wear a KAC URX that I can still change.

I think your picture is going to push me over the top in getting one for it.  Now I just have to decide how much coin I want to throw down.

Too many decisions.

Nice work unclemoak.

Switched the rail on my precision AR to the URX4 to give the gas block a little more clearance, and so I could use the magpul tripod adapter:

I shot it in a DMR match this weekend and it did very well, taking 2nd. If the idiot behind it knew which direction to turn the turrets, 1st would have been possible.
