Mark, I hate you

How's the E3 shoot? I've only shot a standard M60 and it was AWESOME. One thing weird was that it pinched my cheek a little when it fired Maybe I just had my face in the wrong place

ETA: You sure that isnt an E4? It seems a bit too short to be an E3.

MAGPUL MIAD Pistol grip
TA31F
GG&G BUIS A2
Superior Weapons Systems Free Float Rail system (which I recommend to anyone)

Can you post a close-up of the rollmark on that CMMG upper. I'm trying to become more familiar with manufacturer's rollmarks. The truth is... I don't know who manufactured mine...

That's ok. I just found out that what I've been calling a rollmark is actually the identifier for the company that does the raw forging, not the company that machines the finished reciever.

First off-new guy here,I caved after handeling an AR-15 sooo I traded off a couple guns I never use and got a new toy! have

Lastly-thanks to this place for getting her to run spiffy,the extractor was sloppy so the washer trick worked wonders!

Any given manufacturer may use different forgings that they either finish in house or sub-contract out for someone else to finish for them. A forge mark is not the end all in determining what company your upper came from. It just identifies who made the raw forging before selling to a AR company who in turn has the forging finished into the end product. Here's a pic of the Cardinal Forge mark on my CMMG upper for reference:

I'm thinking he put it in the dirt...threw rocks and dirt on it...and then snapped a pic.  But then again...I'll go w/ awesome paint job also.  As I'm not really sure.
