There was a mention in a recent article I read about how sporting rifles follow the design of military rifles. As was pointed out, it makes sense as the military spends time and money perfecting a design and its components. The AR has been  no different, it has gained popularity with civilian shooters over the years.

But now CMMG has really taken the AR to a new level. If one looks at all the advances they are making it is just phenomenal .  It seems these guys are just so full of fantastic ideas on how to make these things better. Other companies have brought new products out, no doubt, but CMMG seems to have taken the lead in useful designs that really shake up the game of what can be done.

Some have said that the AR platform is "dead" having had everything that can be done to it done. Well, CMMG seems to have thrown that thought out the window. Its going to be really interesting to see what these guys do next.  This modular stuff with all the customization options is really cool!

I cannot help but wonder with both sides open, what would it take to make a belt fed unit like in that old AR10 video from armalite floating around out there?

The stuff you guys do never ceases to amaze me.  Glad I'm a CMMG dealer, that's for sure!

Yeah, but when will it be out...Announced before the shot show and now is still not out? what is going on? I've waited long enough for my build I'm buying the Quality Arms upper that is already being sold

Very freakin cool.

I've got an old Colt AR that I'm slowly building up the way I'm wanting. Having an upper like this would let me have it set up for left side ejection, but by having a spare set of plates and (I'm assuming) the original bolt, I can swap to right side ejection, if need be.

Definitely want.

CMMG - Any intention to make these in a Armalite AR-10 compatible style along with a REPR-style enclosed side charging handle as previously mentioned?

<––- guaranteed sale here if so

By fall I do expect to offer a. 308 version. We will also have the Revolution handguard and ambi lower as well.

Oh man... I never thought I'd have an interest in another .308 AR because I have gotten so spoiled with my left-side ejecting ARs.

If you make them, I will have one.

I dont see any reference to what you will use for a BCG.  If you have a standard RH (normal) BCG, you're good to go, but is there a lefty option available, or do you need to buy from Stag?
