A SAR3 along with an RDP going out to a mil customer in IRAQ. His qoute to me, "Now I have what I think gives me the best edge if I am down to my M16 that will will mean that I am in trouble in my line of work as a gunner in a black Hawk."

The director of Aimpoints LE/Mil Dept. has been quite pleased with the SARS thus far. He took a few recent pics of the new Aimpoint Micro on a SAR3!

I ordered the sar 3 for my NF scope. I thought my NF scope is 30mm tube.
Why does it say in this topic 34mm sar was made for NF? did I order the right SAR? |

What thread does it say the 34mm (SAR4) was made for the NF? You're GTG with the SAR 3 (30mm) for your NF. Edited....Ah I see it....In that thread I was asking if one of the users needed a 34mm for a NF...He indicated it was for a S&B. Sorry for the confusion. Your NF IS 30mm, you ordered correctly! I have one of these babies on my 6.5 Grendel and love it. I would like to put one on a Glock 20 longslide if Lone Wolf ever puts them out. Any idea where I can find a mount for the rear sight slot? I know Dr. Optics used to make them. Duane |

For those who asked, yes I will be at the Shot Show in Vegas, running a booth whrere I will be showing off ALL the SAR units! I will be running the KAT Performance booth since Kip became a bit ill and asked me to fill in. Thanks!

Some VERY good news on the SAR units....They are currently under trials from the SOPMOD, NSWC Crane group. Once they get through these trials, the units will be widespread and easily available to our brave men and women in harms way! A good day to say the least!
