I finally got a reply today from Noveske about my inquiry of the Switch Block on the 7.62. They are currently testing them but they are only offered on the 5.56 at this time.

Noveske's website, under "Products", then under "N4 Stainless Uppers", then under "5.56mm Uppers" but especially under "5.56mm Uppers with VIS" has a whole bunch of pics of Switchblock equipped rifles: 10.5", 12.5" 14.5" 16" 18"- at least you can see how they look.

For the installation kits, will there be a Switchblock that also has a sight on it (like my current F-marked FSB) or would I need to secure a standard rail-type back-up front iron?

Have you fired the weapon with the switch block set on suppressed without a suppressor? By accident or otherwise. Did the weapon short stroke?

Wes, how much barrel is there in front of the switchblock on the above rifle? Could it take an AAC SPR/M4 mount?

IF this was possible, you'd have seen or heard about a SPR/M4 on a 10.5" barrel by now. I don't think it would work even with a normal gas block. I think you need about another 1.25"

Yup, disregard question. I was thinking 11.5" barrel. Just out of curiosity, anyone know the minimum barrel length for an M4/SPR mount with a Switchblock? I'm guessing somewhere between 11" and 11.5".

Any more Noveske SS 18 SPR barrels with switchblocks?
I was thinking of one like the last one you pictured, but with a regular upper and an AAC Blackout instead of the Ops.

Gee Wes, StickM just gave us a visual of a dream upper, a 14.5in midi gased switchblocked N4.My perfect ten would be a Noveske anything 12.5in with Switchblock, KAC URX).
Any news when John Noveske will do any switchblocked 12.5in barrels?
It seems the only things he offers with switchblock are the 10.5in N4's. I wouldn't mind a 12.5in N4 with switchblock either.
Can you ask him? Sheri doesn't know when.

WE COULD DO THAT. I HAVE ALL OF THE PARTS BUT THE BARREL WITH SWITCHBLOCK. IT WOULD TAKE SOME TIME, THOUGH, TO COME UP WITH THE BARREL. THE LAST 12.5" NOVESKE S/S BARREL WITH SWITCHBLOCK I ORDERED TOOK SIX MONTHS.
