Wes, It it possible, and what would be the cost on the following upper: Noveske - N4 barreled upper cut & threaded to 10.5" (I saw your other post on these) Noveske - IonBonded Switch Block LMT - IonBonded BCG KAC - Carbine URX Rail Would I need to buy an N4 upper and send it to you for the work or can you provide an adequate standard forged upper to place everything else on? Cool! I just want to hear a review from an actual user and I am sold. Currently running suppressed I can get about 120 rounds through it until the gas gets too strong for me to effectively use it. That's with a PRI Gas Buster CH and not all at one range session. Any word if this will improve that from an end user? |

The only bad thing about the switchblock is they wont sell it without you purchasing a full upper package. Gay!!! I suppose I will have to make a on/off gas block myself and market it by itself. I believe John is trying to patent this but Im not sure the patent office would consider this a item innovative enough to issue a patent. I wish noveski would do that so I dont have to make one!!!!!! |

So correct me if I'm wrong, but this product would replace just the gas block? and when it says tuned, will there be one for virtually every application? or for just older Noveske uppers that don't have them installed? Thanks |
I want one for a 10.5" Grendel first. I want more than one port to play with so I can work on my subsonic 160grn. loads. I think the holy grail of AR gasblockdom would be a switchblock system incorporated into a YHM style clamp on gas block with a flip up front sight.... But that's just me...

I have an order with Noveske currently and I can still have this added to my N4 Light Recce Low-Profile at this time. Can you think of any reason you would not have it installed if you can afford it? Other than if there is no plans of getting a suppressor, which I would love to get one down the road. I know by adding this it will shorten the rail system from 10" to a 9" but I think that should still be long enough.
Any thoughts or advise would be great, seems like a very nice option to add on but trying not to get too ahead of myself without thinking it through. |
