Sweet looking set-up you got there Denny!

While I understand that the Noveske is used more to address the "problem" of muzzle / sound blast and gas pressure, I was wondering tho if it has an effect on controllability. In FA or rapid SA fire, does it do anything with regard muzzle flip / rise?

I think that would look awesome in a 7.5!

I'm still looking for some chrono data.

I'm planning to move to S. Dakota soon, so this may be a future project.  I don't think I'm going to want to sacrifice any velocity from a standard M4 bbl though.

Thats what i like about the CQB barrel (10.5"). It losses some compared to a 14.5" M4 barrel but then again it is designed for CQB. Close in tight spaces. I plan to build a CQB barreled rifle whenever i get the paperwork back from big brother. Should be around ohhh 6 months or so.

Denny,
Does Noveske offer their bbls in anything but the 416 grade 70 Stainless (like a chromoly, chrome-lined barrel)?

Thanks,
Sean
