I'm collecting parts for a 10/22 build.  I have a Green Mountain "Rimfire Central Edition" 24" stainless bull barrel coming, which I'll probably have threaded into a factory receiver.  I plan to use a KID 2-stage trigger.  I haven't decided on a stock yet.  Dixie Consolidated makes an aluminum bullpup stock for the 10/22 that's supposed to have a decent trigger pull.  I might try that - it should work even better with the Kid trigger.  If that doesn't work out, I'll throw it in a Hogue of Fajen synthetic stock.

www.tech-sights.com/ makes AR15 style sights for the 10/22.  Not the same as a .22 AR, but better than practicing with the Ruger factory sights.
