This might work for you guys ICE ARMS *edit* I meant to reply to the guys looking for an 18" barrel. Also us the ARFCOM discount code for 10% off  As tempting as their prices are, stay clear away. 1 in 10 chances you will get what you want...if you ever get it. Ordered a BCG from them to test out several months ago, and at the same time referred a friend and family member to also give them a try. Those 2 got burnt and hosed..had to call Credit Card company for chargeback after a few months of non-resolve and poor communication. As for me, I got a replacement BCG after numerous emails and calls...many wasted time and effort to get a subpar BCG. If you like to waste lots of time, energy and like to pull your hair out..by all means give this failing company a try. eta: I was looking at their barrels also..but my experience with this place was beyond disappointing and no matter how good they claim their barrels are..they won't get a penny from me or anyone I know..in addition to the subpar quality of the replacement BCG I got..speaks volumes of the quality of their entire products and standards. |

I have to say I agree, so far no communication whatsoever I will give them a day or so to get back to me then I will just cancel and dispute. First of all not one is getting "burned". All our orders are shipping out. We shipped out 125 Nickel Boron BCGs over the weekend. Our barrels........ship everyday as well. 1 in 10 chances? Sir......that is INSULTING. People ONLY seem to post problems here. Lets be fair.......1 in 300? Maybe 1 in 500. 30 to 40 orders ship every single day and thank you all you ARFCOMERS for your support. As it relates to 1:7............we are to understand after much consultation that 1:8 is more than a sufficient twist rate. And while we can get plenty of 4150V in 1:7, its much harder to get Stainless Steel blanks in 1:7. Barrel blank companies do not like to make SS 1:7 blanks. We were lucky to acquire a bunch of SS blanks in 1:7 from a customer that did not need them but this is not the norm. So for the most part, our SS blanks will be 1:8 for the time being. We were also thinking about nitriding some SS to give a really nice Black Stainless look. It will also help with durability so you will have a very accurate AND durable barrel
We also just had 10.5 inch 1:8 Stainless Barrels just walk in the door. They are SKU'd and will ship tomorrow. Your thoughts guys? |

I am waiting to complete a build and a 14.5/14.7 1:8 stainless with a black coating would be perfect for what I am looking to build

Your thoughts guys? Wow, I really like the idea of the black stainless look plus the durability benefits. I also like the 1:8 twist rate. I was actually going to get a Wilson Combat 14.7" SS barrel with the same twist rate even though they also offer a 1:7 as well. I wound up not getting their barrel though, due to the heavy profile it has because it was made to run with a suppressor so they added the extra thickness for support. So I was extremely happy to read your original post about coming out with a 14.7" barrel since not many companies offer them. I was holding off on the PSA CHF 14.7" because I already have one and wanted to try something different and now they are out of stock. So this is perfect timing. It would also be nice if you would offer a nitrided fire control group like the nib-x ones. It would go great with either an np3 plated receiver set or a nib coated receiver set paired with a nitrided BCG. |

Found Her!!! WOA 18" Mid-Length SPR Barrel@ Brownells IN STOCK I got one! I guess she will be taking a trip to ADCO for some fluts and bead blasting. Edited: Out of Stock now. I did check after I order mine to see if it was still in stock, I guess some one else got one. |

I run a small custom shop in fl an i want to give credit where credit is due. I ordered a 18" middy barrel. Didn't hear anything for a few days,got a Lil nervous reading some of the stuff on here and began calling emailing and the like. Two days later got an email telling me they had shipped it( gave me the wrong carrier info) but shipped none the less.Got the barrel it looks good it performs good and price is amazing. I'm chalking bad comms and shipping issues up to growing pains but the product is an excellent value of great quality. It is an ACCURATE well made barrel. I read so much on here that after this order I'm chalking up to scuttlebutt. I truthfully wonder how many of the nancies on here have had any actual experience with ICE.Thanks ICE. I and the LEO's rifle this barrel went on thank and appreciate it.

I received my Ice Arms 7.5 Stainless barrel tonight and feel the need to post about my experience and state that they are GTG in my book. I was extremely hesitant to give them a try after reading some of the feedback on here, but I am glad I did. The order process could have been smoother if they had followed the "Under Promise / Over Deliver" motto, I only say this because if they had told me up front it would be two or three weeks till I got my order then I would have been good with it and never bothered them, instead Colin told me twice the barrel would ship and it didn't, by no means is this a knock on Colin he was very responsive and helpful, I just think they might be experiencing some growing pains.
I also want to point out that all of us on here are spoiled rotten by vendors like Primary, Aim, Stonefire and Brownells. In my opinion they set the bar very high, so its a little unfair to hold ICE to that standard. They performed far better than PSA who takes up to three weeks to ship your order and are completely unresponsive to email. Once again thanks Colin and Ice Arms! I plan on placing another order later this week with you guys

Just picked one up since I've been searching for 300blk barrel. Sale at Primary Arms right now, and also don't know if these barrels are any good, but it does come with gas block and tube for a decent price. Take a look:

I bought first too and think later hahaha  such a good price for what you are getting. I know some of their .300 barrels are/were made by Satern...but don't know if these are. Can't beat it..fluted stainless barrel, comes with gas block and tube.
