Does Chris typically send shipping notifications? It's been a week since I ordered and haven't received a tracking number or any notification.

Not a complaint at all, im sure he's a busy man.

No complaint here either, he may be busy with increase in business.
Ordered/payed last 'Saturday', he said would ship no later than Wednesday, then no later than Thursday, I called Friday early afternoon and asked for tracking he says, "it went out an hour ago" should have it by Tuesday and texts tracking to me.

According to USPS tracking as of today "Label Created, not yet in system: A status update is not yet available on your priority mail package. It will be available when shipper provides an update or the package is delivered to USPS. Check back soon."
He's open on Saturdays. Should I follow up and ask about tracking again since it hasn't updated?

I'd rather have my head slammed in a car door than talk to someone I could email. I email him and have him send me paypal invoices. That way when it ships, the tracking is available. He's pretty good about emails.

If he said it's inbound, I'm sure it is. Phone call yesterday a.m. was answered on the second ring.

Yeah no kidding, I paid over the phone. He gave me option of text or email on the notification. I do have email comms with him, though no invoice. I'll send him an email.

I received an email Thursday with a question about my order. Claimed it might ship Thursday, definitely Friday.

I was so excited to have it already and my hopes were dashed.

Man, SA's deals are legit! I wish I would have known about their MK18 deal before I bought my 6945 upper yesterday. But I have been jonesing for a 6945 for awhile, so I am not that heart broken

Last I checked OOS.
I've gone past my gun budget 3x this month (Colt WC Stainless Commander, 2 Commandos) I think I need another shorter barrel. No, then I would want to form 1 that bad boy. The voices are always "get it".

Got my A2 upper in, beautiful colt gray. Anyone know what the "M" forge code is?

CM = Colt / Martin Marietta

In case any is wondering, my order came exactly as advertised/described from SA. Colt upper with some minor dings (typical), colt BCG with C and MPC markings, and he even threw in a charging handle even after I said I'd rather have the cash discount.

I'll be buying from SA again.

Barrel date of 12/15. White dot on the MPC marked bolt. Everything as you would expect from a Colt upper assembly.

Is it common for charging handles to be unmarked?

Colt upper receiver stamped "C" with raised square. BCG marked "C", dot on an MPC bolt. 11.5 FBI HRT contract profile (IIRC 11/15) & Matech BUIS. ...and this looks great, good purchase! ---Well now I'll will probably want to put together a lower package for the newest one.

I bought a few of the HRT barrels at the $99 price before they realized what they had and bumped the price up to $199. That's right. Brand spankin' new Colt FBI HRT barrels were $99 each. I'm fairly certain I know who bought the rest.

ETA: And they were not from Gundeals. They were from another place. EE barrels came from the same place I'm talking about, but they are LONG gone. Guy made a killing.

I've been on the hunt for a 20" gov profile barrel and just emailed Chris about it. Here's a little excerpt from what he sent me.

You guys are the best! I just had some complete FN 20" uppers in here with the Knights M5 on them but am currently looking for just 20" barrels CHF FN. I mite have a line on some, ck back with me in a few days and if I get some b4 that I will email you direct, usually when they pop up I get 6 or 12.

Tell the Arfcom guys there the best and I'm working on running a new special for them soon.

So, he has FN 20" barrels with FSB? The clone boys in the A4 forum would like to know about this.

I already have a 20" FN CHF PSA upper that I snagged when PSA still had them. I kind of wish I had a regular chrome lined one, since they have the correct relief behind the flash hider. My CHF does not.
