| My wife's set up is a lightweight MIDDY 14.5" upper. We've taken great care in the build of keeping everything light. I'm thinking this may help a bit. But I'm worried the weight of the buffer is a bit too much for reliable functioning. Is there anything in the works for those of us running 14.5" middy's? Or is my best bet just to stick with the h2/h3 set up? |

I've finally succumbed to the logic of this...
But it looks like I'm going to have to be the guinea pig for running this on a dedicated suppressed 10.5" upper, but I'm game. One is definitely going on my Magpul Dynamics SR-15 (and tossing on my wife's favorite EMOD). |
| My A5 tube just arrived today. This is for my9mm build. I'm already using the longer Spike Tactical buffer but the added travel worries me. I think if I add a spacer it will limit the travel back to what it's like with a carbine tube. The quality is very nice and the 7 positions is excellent. MagPul ACS stock collapses all the way. |
| In order to have the A5 system with an IMOD stock, do I have to get a RE-10 buffer tube instead of the A5? Will the spacing between the RE-10 and the A5 tubes be much of a difference when not having the stock fully collapsed? I have a 16" midlength and I'm thinking I need the RE-10 and the A5 (5 oz.) buffer with spring but if it doesn't make a big difference, I'll get the A5 buffer tube. |
