Things are looking good for the future of Blackout with cheap steel cased ammo becoming available.

Hopefully, after this ammo is introduced, the next offering will be subsonic.

We like this kind of dupe! I wish it was 110 or 120 grain pills though.

I commented a few times in the other thread...but man....I'm so pumped about this!
I expect big gov to make some changes soon....because this is a game changer. |

Figures those zany Russians would start producing it about the time the trend settles down. And it should have been a 110gr soft point. I mean, cheap blasting ammo is cool but Russian soft point tends to cost about the same as FMJ and it usually performs pretty well. At 145gr it will be slow AF and won't match the trajectory for good fighting ammo.

This is awesome news!
Yes, I would prefer the supers to be in the 110-120g range, but really I only use supers for HD. When I'm out messing around with the 300 I'm shooting subs suppressed. Subs should hit the market next summer. |

I'm not too interested in steel-cased-anything because I compulsively hoard brass and in this caliber I actually reload it on the regular. What excites me about this, is the prospect of it driving up demand for the caliber and encouraging more aftermarket shit. Now all the

When subsonic comes out, but I hope the price is really good.

I guess I missed the memo that 300blk trend was settling down? Ammo and parts are more available from more manufacturers now then ever before and it has a firm place in the market with a healthy following. I don't think there is another caliber that enjoys more popularity in the ar platform other than 556. Whatchu talkin bout Willis? View Quote |

Well, if they do end up doing soft points, it will be AMAZING!

I just bought two complete uppers for .300 BO, one for a pistol & one for a rifle. This Wolf ammo will be perfect for range time ammo & just plain blasting ammo. Good job Wolf.

I don't think it's going anywhere. .300 AAC will always be around, but it isn't the hip new thing anymore. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Anyone know what weight bullet Wolf is going to use for subsonics?
|
|
How good is Wolf's quality control?
Anyone ever heard of issues shooting wolf .223 through a suppressor? Ie. like bullets seated wonky and causing a baffle strike? |

That said, I dont think I have heard of any baffle strikes caused by the stuff and will really need to get over my concern once the 300 subs come out. I have shot hundreds of rounds of Wolf Gold with no issues. It's what I primarily use. |

This is great news. Happy to hear about the coming subsonic loading as well.

I will try a case of it my my .300 BO to see how well it performs. Got both a 7.5" & a 16" that need a good range workout.
