So my wife has always wanted a galil and I got a receiver and kit on the way, is there any difference in stock length between South African kits or Israeli kits? If not is there a shorter stock thats similar in appearance?

S/A stock is longer.
figure out what length she needs and cut the tubes on the stock from your kit.
redrill the pin holes using the knuckle as a guide and use some gorilla glue two part epoxy in the tube holes on the knuckle- reassemble and pin.
let it sit over nite and you should be good to go.

The South African stocks were longer but didn’t have an individual top/bottom tube. The “spacer” was like a molded part of the stock.
