Remove the FSB, cut it down and thread the end of the barrel. Put the FSB back on with the new threads exposed.
Likely your barrel bore isn't centered or the FSB bore isn't centered. It's all very common. |

Barrel probably isn’t concentric. Best bet is to avoid adapters if you can. Jmac sells a direct thread brake
