My 16" Norinco in a Russian stock. My beloved "Para" which cost me a mere $85 plus tax at auction, never fired, action is tight as a tick and will be kept in that condition as long as I have it. with 2 other SK's I have no need to break this one in. And a vet bring back which I unfortunately have to get rid of soon,

Here is my M59/66 I just got done refinishing with tung oil. I cleaned it well and lightly sanded it first, but didn't bother to steam out dents or get rid of scratches, not that there were many to begin with. I wanted to keep the "character" of the rifle, and it only cost me $199. It's going to be a shooter, not a museum piece. I like it.  Considering I haven't done any kind of wood finishing in about 20 years, I think it looks pretty damn good.BTW, it's a G-series, so from what I've read that means it was made in 1970. |

Just got my first SKS...found it in a local pawn shop for $229. 1952 Tula rearsenal with all matching numbers (stock force matched). Came with the cleaning kit and a '70 dated Russian sling...I swapped the sling with a '52 dated one I had on one of my AK's.    old & new  |
