Is it possible to replace the tubular stock itself with a regular triangle stock, like the one that Manticore sells?  I'm not talking about modifying the actual side-folding mount or anything, just replacing the "tubular" portion.

Closest you’ll get is the Circle 10 AK SAM7SF Adapter plus one of the ACE type triangle stocks Circle 10 sells.

You might be able to replace it with a triangle folder, most likely the pin is 4.5mm:
