Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Romy md65 and pm90 kits from Midway. What barrels to use?

I've got some of these kits coming and not sure what my best option will be regarding which barrels to use.  Midway has the Swenson melonite in stock but I really want Romanian chrome lined.  Those however are currently unobtanium right now.

Anyone put any of these kits together yet?  What barrels are you using?

These came across on an Email blast the other day.   $70 seems cheap but if it works I suppose its worth the price of admission.

If higher resale value is your thing then either a Polish barrel from Arms of America or a hammer forged barrel from AK-Builder.

Honestly you may get $100 extra for having an “OG” barrel but you’d also spend at least $100 more for it. It’s a wash. It just depends on what you want. They will look the same.
