I'm not well versed on AKs.

How are the Pioneers? I own one, and Ive shot it, but not enough say it's reliable or not, and with the availability of ammo right now I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Anything that I should go over with these? Any parts that should be swapped out?

I'm going to put a brace on it and QD for my suppressor. From there if there's anything that urgently should be replaced I'll do that. If not I'll prob upgrade the trigger.

Pioneer is the IO of Poland. Shoddy materials and shoddy build practices. I personally wouldn't invest too much into one.

I'd opt for a Draco. The Hellpups have gotten some bad reviews.

I owned one. It was well made and solid with no issues. Mine was one from the first batch brought into the country. I wonder if later ones changed.
