I'm not too picky on cheek weld anymore these days. Hell, I don't even care if it's an RDS. I do know someone on here had a pic of an older M77 that they put a Bonesteel stock on with a LPVO and it was pretty neat looking. I think it'd be a cool woods rifle or hunting setup. |

New KUSA KR-103 I ordered from Atlantic Firearms Everything looks good except for the BHO safety. From both the pics on Atlantic and KUSA's site I thought I was just getting a bone stock AK-103 clone and that's all I really wanted. Call me pedantic, but it kinda ruins the aesthetic of the rifle for me.

Last pic ended up really blurry, changing some settings on my camera made it a bit better. Uploading to ar15.com is part of the problem.  Changed the Optic to a Holosun 515GM, they are pretty bomb proof for the money. Nice specs/construction. Apparently Estonia has them on their LMTs. I figured it would be decent enough for a Zastava. I like the look honestly. I feel like it retains some of it's aesthetics. Yet looks tactical and offers some modularity. |

Honestly that wouldn't bother me a bit and I appreciate that feature. My Riley Defense AK has that and I use it often, especially after hard run and letting the barrel cool standing in a gun rack at the range. |

I'd ask if you want to trade safety levers, but I contacted KUSA's CS and they offered to send me a lever without the cutout for no charge.  Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow. I guess it's a 'to each their own' thing but I've never had a use for it. The last AK I had that had it was a Century NPAP and it never seemed to work as advertised. It always slipped, letting the bolt slam home unexpectedly. I noticed the KUSA version does have a radius in it that the charging handle should be able to rest in, but it still just kills the aesthetic for me and I also view it as another dirt and debris ingress point.
