I really like mine, but its a converted underfolder with a permanent barrel extension on it. No complaints other than it's an underfolder

We never really had any isssues with the orginal PAP85 pistols as long as you used a decent mag . The new import ZPAP 85 by Zastava Arms runs like a champ with their metal mag and we have also used the FB Radom & WBP .556 mags with them also .

What would be really sweet would be if these 85’s get popular enough, then maybe Magpul would make a 5.56 AK mag for them.

I have a question for the "krink" guys. I have heard that the "krink" get too hot too fast with its caliber 5x45, can it be converted to another pistol caliber closest to its cartridge diameter? Just maybe changing the barrel and convert it to straight blowback? I know that it's a funny Q but can it be done? What do you think?

I tried the steel Galil and they wouldn’t lock up. Tapco Galil will and work well. No issues on reliability but kind of like unicorns theses days.

I'm currently putting together a M85 that I will be able to run with NODs and my socom suppressor.
I also primarily have been collecting Polish Beryl mags but I just got a Galil SAR parts kit and apparently some people have successfully been running those 35rnd mags reliably in the M85. So now I collect the Polish translucent mags and the 35rnd Galil mags and unintentionally created two compatible weapon systems in the inventory (possibly). Here is my check list so far. PERST 4 GREEN/IR BONE STEEL GALIL STYLE FLDR BRACE TWS DOGLEG M13 ECH UNITY HOT BUTTON SF MZL ADAPTER |

My M85 has the AR15 mag adaptor. It is alright as a gun. It never jams and is accurate enough. But without a rail or folding stock it is just a novelty.

M85NP IIRC is the AR mag model. Add a brace adapter and a folding knuckle. OR if it uses a underfolding trunion like the M85PVs , permanently add a barrel extension to achieve 16" and convert it to an underfolder
