For mine, it’s exactly the same. Magpuls work best.
I have had no issues with Warsaw Pact Polish and Bulgarian military steel magazines. Arsenal Circle 10 mags are very tight, and the 5 round mags will not lock in place at all. I am just focusing on buying Magpul M3 AK mags where I can. They work perfect. |

I bought a few of the 40 round novelty mags from KCI last year. They worked well, and a couple of the Red White and Blue were recently ordered. Although they appear to be the same, the more recent version has a higher follower and a feed lip that catches the bolt sometimes.

Is there a consensus that East bloc steel mags, particularly pole or Bulgarian have been ok?
