what type of muzzle brake was on the early gsad rifles? was it a slant brake or poly style muzzle nut?
also were any known to have a leather sling? just picked up a full stock gsad, will post pics when i can renew my membership. the sling is interesting in that it is configured just as the green or grey sling, just leather. pretty neat really. and the brake, or nut is MIA unfortunately forgot that i posted this...here are some sling pics  Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

I bought one used around 2004, it appeared to be original with cleaning kit in the stock and all.
Just looked at an old picture and it had a slant brake and OD green sling. |

My GSAD underfolder has a slant brake and green sling. I’ve never seen a total leather one that’s interesting.

slant break, great! i just ordered the muzzle nut from polyparts.

Would you be willing to post a picture of the bottom of the front handguard, I wanna see the channel the spike sits in, I have a couple spare Chinese handguard sets, I just got a Poly spiker, rather than spend $70 dollars on a new wood lower I gotta refinish anyway I figured I'd cut one of the ones I have and refinish it.

My GSAD was unfired when I got it and came with just a barrel nut not a slant brake...so who knows?
