I love my 106ur, but the sights blow. I'd like to put some optics on it so its actually shoot-able.

My preference would be to use the factory side rail, though I know that will disallow folding. What are you guys running and why?

Any information or opinions would be appreciated.

There some good options for side rail use these days. If you want a small optic specific mount I would recommend RS Regulate. AK Master mount makes some nice railed mounts that you can choose between full length and rear biased. Another good option for full length size is the Arsenal SM-13. Those are the best ones that I am familiar with.
