Really like the wood on that. Nice!

Someone needs to come out witha  faux-wood stabilizer/brace. It's the only thing keeping me from an AK pistol setup.

I'm liking the 10" chrome lined barrel with standard handguards.

Just need some details on the removal of the muzzle protector and what is underneath it.

I had a parts kit for a Polish Krink back in the 90s, sold it for way more than I paid but Poland makes nice AKs!  I’d like one to file a Form 1 and build as a SBR!

What I'd like to know, is the company who makes these Polish AK's today, the same company who made them in the 90's. Many times they will say made in Poland, wanting us to assume they are the same company who made the good ones years ago. Like the Hungarian AK's made a few years ago. The importers wanted us to assume  they were made by FEG, when in actuality, a few years ago, FEG was making home appliances. Or Bulgarian made AK's by ISM, which had nothing to do with Arsenal of Bulgaria. Shell game.  GARY

Depends.

These pistols are WBP. FB-Radom (Circle 11) is considered the primo Polish AK builder.

WBP builds a very nice AK though. I really wanna get one of these soon and brace the little guy.

If these things are the same quality or better than the under folder kits we used to get then this thing should be a home run.   Not a fan of the shipping cost though

I have a PAP threaded hinge from CNC warrior for an M92 project I have been slacking on getting the pistol for.  Maybe it will work on this.  The 4 piece flash hider I bought from them however won't so I guess I still need an M92.

I'd like to see some reviews on it.  That flash hider is absolutely hideous though.

Can anyone speak to the effectiveness of a 7.63X39 round out of a 10" barrel to.guy who only knows that answer as it relates to 5.56?

Another question.

If an underfolder is ultimately the plan and this comes with the underfolder trunion, how involved is installing an underfolder stock?

What about a brace?

Hitting steel plates at 200 yards, easily, with iron sights.

I think underfolder, easy for gunsmith.

Brace super easy to install.
Like 1 minute.

No, I understand they are not the same company.  I also understand that the original military factory in Radom is no more.  Radom is a town in Poland.  YMMV.

I believe Radom is still operating, filling Polish Military contracts.

WBP does some work with Radom.

The Lynx barrel is FB Radom.
My lower handguard also marked circle 11.

It seems to still be in operation (reorganized since 2000).

They're the ones making the MSBS (aka Grot): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSBS_rifle

Not super sure, I didn't have an opportunity to compare it to the first batch.  Did they change anything?  If so, what's the difference?

Just read through other forum and found the paint is crappy / could come off easily.
I am not sure if WBP change the paint process or not.

I really want to get one but afraid the paint is not "durable"
Do you ever shoot to confirm the paint still good after normal use?

Thanks,

Just got my Lynx yesterday, so I'm resurrecting this thread-

I see that the Lynx has an underfolder trunnion (I have no idea how this differs from a fixed stock or side folder trunnion, but understand where the difference would be).

I've seen the braces that mount via the pistol grip, and I've seen some people suggest that the underfolder trunnion which may not be as well suited to being drilled and tapped as a different trunnion, is simply too thin to get a good set of threads to engage.

What's the best way to VERY STURDILY attach either a pistol brace or (after Form 1, obviously) a stock to the firearm?

thanks!!

very nice. did you install the buffer tube adapter or was it stock?

It looks like the fit against the rear trunion is kind of off.

Plenty of tap and drill options at CNCWarrior, Stormwerx etc for picatinney or buffer tube adapters. Not sure what the ass end of a stock Lynx looks like. Can somebody post a photo?
