AK with optics picture thread (Page 5 of 13)
Here's my humble collection:
Top is an Arsenal SA M7 with Ultimak. Optics are an Aimpoint M2 with Larue LT-624 short mount. Bottom is an Arsenal SGL-21 also with an Ultimak. Optics are an Eotech XPS2-2 (got a heck of a deal on the 2-2) I was going to go with the Primary Arms micro dots, but I got a great deal on both optics and prefer mil grade optics. |

| The locking lever is a little tight. Even after adjustment it still requires a healthy tug to get it to lock. I'll post more pics tonight. |

Here's my Arsenal SGL21 with a NcStar red dot. It's a piece of doodoo but holds zero pretty well. Picked it up at a gun show here in Dallas on a whim. I'm actually looking for a better red dot that is not in the price range of mil spec stuff.

I recently put this together. .308 Vepr + Molot mount + Warne rings + Burris Timberline 3-9x32 Ballistic Plex scope = Much happiness on my part.   |

| Hey man just recently purchased a Romanian AK. Been looking at all sorts of rails and was wondering your opinion on your rear rail over the receiver cover. Pros/Cons? I really like the idea of the rear rail, but see many people using the gas tube rail for red dots. Any info would help.......thanks! |

If you want a magnified optic, the Texas Weapon System rail gets my vote. |

Picked up another PKS-07. This one has a different mount and reticle than my first. Not sure what I want to do with it at this point, but for $190 it was too good to pass up. |

Hello Metal, Chefgun here, I like that scope and I wonder how it would work on my Mitchell M-77 in .308 compared to your M-76 in 8MM Mauser?. Also how would I go about finding one ?. Also I am in VERY MUCH NEED of someone that can work on a ZRAK scope and I would be VERY GREATFULL if any of you Guys out there now of anyone.!!.

They've done a lot of repair work for others in the past. |

This is the Ultimak/red dot combo from Primary Arms on a CAI AK-74. Seems to work pretty good. Plenty bright in direct sunlight and co-witnesses with the iron sights. For the price it's a great match with an inexpensive rifle.

SAR2 upgraded with K-Var NATO length OD green stock set, original Romanian 22mm threaded FSB, and a CNC warrior 22mm AK74 style brake. It's wearing a POSP 42x6 VD scope. We'll see how she shoots my next range outing. I'm trying to figure out if I can work a formula to use the 7.62x39 calibrated chevrons for 5.45. The 5.45 dedicated scopes are just out of my price range at the moment. ETA... Oh, one other little detail. The PSOP's faux Butler Creek-style flip-up objective cap was just begging for it.
