Got a VEPR tactical version with 23" barrel in 7.62 X 54.  Looking to put a good scope on it for shots out to 300 -400 yards.

Right now, I'm looking at this one:

Reticle is similar to one on my PSL, just with more magnification.  

Thoughts?

Other option is I have a KVAR side mount on it now with a cheap 3-9 Weaver on it. I could just keep that mount and buy just the scope. KVAR is solid, but is slightly offset to the right of bore.
