Hi folks, any input or idea on how to change galil ace 8.3 pistol barrel to a 12.5 barrel?  I have both 556 & 7.62 X39  with OSS can, but I think it will be a more pleasant home defense /truck gone with a 12.5 inches barrel.

get a 16" and cut it down?

You will need someone with a lathe that has experience with installing and headspacing threaded barrels. Not as simple as a press and pin barrel.

I added a 4" XM177 moderator to get the flash moving out and away. Works good, looks balanced, and does not feel too long.
