It's obvious the owner is a member of the AR side, who just branched out to AK's and wants to fix it up just like all the AR's.
Amazing isnt it? Ak's divinity in thier natural state. Same with AR's an excellent tool without all the gingerbread. Yet companies turn out masses-o-crap and people continue to purchase. Those 4 year marketing degrees paid off!
Sexxy ads in SOF,SGN etc... get the job done. Again, personal preference. I will finally STFU before I ruffle some feathers. |
This is strictly a Prairie Dog gun... dont be playa hatin suckas!
So Tim..... Is that one of your builds??
You going to Start advertising in Shotgun News ?? |
I am at a loss for words........The only thing that would have been better would be tht scope on Chevrofreaks AK thingy
That rifle is the definition of optimism. Misplaced optimism.

Happy New Year! |

Ive always said the AK platform was not accurate compaired to the Western natuons rifles. I see now I have to retract that statement. I was IMed that that was a 1000 meter gopher rifle that has sucesfully taken out many at that range. I stand corrected. WarDawg

"this here kalyshikov is a surplus snyper rifle from the Soviet dept of Forestry! Very rare in the states, $1,999.95 today only!"
Easy one, its set up for that third hair from the left eye shot at 25 yards.
Actually I think I've seen that exact rifle with that price tag at the Expomart Gun Show... |
Where do you guys get these neat old Soviet and Chinees propaganda posters? Pretty cool. May I make a suggestion - the one above with Uncle Joe - if someone could photo shop in Kalishnakov's face in there it would work even better IMHO. |
Wholly shit that was funny!!!!!!!!Wheew!!!!!! I needed that!!!!!!!! I'm crying!!!! |
I hope the owner sees this thread and gets the hint to take that crap off his rifle.
with the kinda picture that scope is gonna give you, u have no excuses for missing within 75 yds w/ that wonderful ak accuracy
Alright, I gotta ask....what was the first?? To answer some questions...... Yes, this is totally real, I know the guy who owns the rifle and this is right up his alley. The guy posing is one of the employees having a good time. He sent me the pictures originally and told me to have at it. You are correct TXGP17, that's the cool gun chick from a-human-right.com. That is all........ |
Would the scope be covered under warranty if you bumped fired it till the guards caught on fire and melted the scope?
Yes. |
OK, I will rest easy knowing that. |

EVERYONE need 24X magnification for their laser and tac light.
these russian ak pics are makin me laugh like crazy...those things are hilarious
I'll give this guy the benefit of the doubt that he knows something we don't.
Hey, that rifle seems to have the auto position marked, never seen that marked with the "Y" shape before on a SA receiver. |
with cables to get tangled in the safety lever and/or bolt carrier |

Truly, truly funny. My first long arm (I was 27 or 28) was an SKS. I put a Fiberforce, detachable mags, a 3x9x40 Nikon (!) scope, and a shell deflector on the carbine, only to discover that I couldn't hit shit with it at 200 yards.
Perhaps it was the Chinese ammo I was using? I've learned a couple of things about guns since then. |
The length of the sunshade on the scope almost exceeds the effective range of the rifle to begin with. Wow...What a clown!
That shit doesn't even look right in on an AR... Maybe a 24" barrel AR-10... Heck, it would probably look absurd on my Savage bolt-action (unless you 86 that 1#%!#% sunshade)... |
Templar,
THAT is the silliest thing I've ever seen! Might look pretty good on my ARSENAL SA-M-7 though... So...where ya working now? Still running guns? |
Hey Lock, nope, I'm working for a company that does seismic testing at quarries. I monitor the blasts. I actually stopped by the shop on the way home today and they still have it there waiting on the guy to come back and pick it up. This thing is for real............. |
Yeah the reason he hasn't picked it up yet is because he saw this post and decided to cut his loss and embarasment.
THE HORROR....
That rifle should be melted down, the owner clubbed to death with the scope then all of them should be expunged from all public records and documents, then their names should never be mentioned again (Disclaimer...just kidding, I do not advocate violence) Seriously though, I hope it works for him, but I just cannot see that happening...Yet another reason for me staying away from all scopes on my AKs....Iron sights baby! |
Congrats. DeGoff's loss. Good Luck! BTW...that is one FUGLY weapon! |
