All kidding aside (Kind of hard because some of that shit was down right hilarious!) it would be interesting if we could have someone compose a point-by-point rebuttal in response to her letter on behalf of all of us ak47.net forum goers without asking her to blow certain members and not others. (Can't be to specific. All or nothing  ) I for one would like to see the response.

So she wants to argue about Intent?
Revolution from Colonial England and Europe in general, where laws made land ownership a requirement for weapons ownership, as a handy way of keeping the masses down. So our founding fathers, with an army of every available person, had just what in mind??? Also reminds me of Ted on Donny's show last week, pointing out that just because a few brain dead morons commit arson does not mean you ban gasoline. |

Im an NRA life member, so Im not trolling when I say this; but I think its unfortunate that the NRA has to take an extremist (but totally necessary!) position on gun laws. The reason is, of course, because the antis have taken such an extreme position themselves.
If we could be guarranteed that sensible laws, like those mostly probibiting access to guns in urban areas by street hoodlums, or by getting those shitty sat night specials and crap ass Jennings, etc. off the streets, Id be for that. -But, alas, they wont be satisfied, and thats why I hope the NRA never lets up, or concedes an inch of their ground.
