This is a new-in-box example of Smith and Wesson's production M9 bayonets, only ever removed from the box for photography for this listing, and never mounted to a rifle or used to cut anything.  You will be able to tell when you receive the bayonet that it has barely ever been removed from its sheath (only once by me, and I am the original owner).

Unlike the cheaper Chinese versions of the M9, this is a correct, well-made one in 440C stainless steel, which is a strong and durable material that holds an edge well, and is superior in corrosion resistance and durability to the OKC and Imperial production models of this fine bayonet.

This bayonet will ship to you free, and will serve you well as a utility knife, as well as a correct accessory for your A2, A4, M4, or other AR or clone of an '80s-or-later issue weapon!
