That sucks. When they catch these guys they wont utilize the gun laws/penalties on the books now but yet they will want to create more gun laws to better protect us.And I am sure its their first run in with the law... I hope they burn these guys.I dont like to see anyone to have to go through something like this that affects their livelihood. And nobody saw anything?

It doesn't norrow it down.  Most of the dumbass wannabe gangsters in Lexington have dreadlock style hair.

It's odd this comes one day after ex-Miss Kentucky Latina Gun Bunny pled guilty to to her charges.

Hate to see this happen especially to a member of our armed forces on veterans day. Hopefully they get caught and the guns are recovered quickly.

Re: the interview with jason––So the manager works hard at 40 hours plus a week....WOW. I work 70-80 every week (7 days a week).  He has it tough.

Why in the world would you not have BARS on the front of a gun shop??? Anyone else think the front of the shop was way too inviting for criminals? No roll downs or gates or anything to deter a smash and grab.

They do have[had] bars on the doors. You will see them right at the start of the video behind the reporter and after they "enter" the store. They dont look substantial but would keep ordinary thiefs out as a deterent. Im with you on the forty hours though.
I dont know either one of them, but I think the news is missing the big picture here. They keep trying to make more out of his wife and her deal than the breakin.I saw the news tonight on 18 and they keep hounding her and the fact that she is already breaking the probation by being in the store last night.I am sorry but I think I have to give them a pass on this one. This isnt an everyday occurance for someone. The news needs to stay on topic and help get the word out that these pricks drove a car through the store and broke laws, so that maybe someone will talk.I dont know if any of you have tried to get gun store insurance, but one claim like this will get him cancelled and little chance of getting a reasonable rate in the future. We are all gun people, and this is not good for our [gun]community if it puts these guys in danger of folding.Any loss for them is a loss for all of us.
Thats just my thoughts on all this, good, bad,or ugly.

Yep your right , they had some bars on the store...really bad ones though it looks like. The ones at the window don't even go all the way up.

always need to have a curb or some type of bollards in front of something like this to help deter a straight in drive. You would think as an MP the owner would have seen that coming.

I have no problem with them focusing on the chick, she is a criminal. She went psycho on some people for NO reason that I have seen and started attacking them.

How would the owner feel if his wife had been the victim of a CCW person that she attacked with a pen or knife or whatever.  Someone that was defending himself with a gun while a psycho drunk chick was attacking them (and they feared for their life and drew down).  It could have easily happened.

Enforce the law on her just like you would anyone else (or in KY, the way you wouldn't on someone else...cause it makes no sense anymore).

TrailBlazers about a mile down the way got hit 15 minutes later. That what you're referring to?

Looks like one or more of these idiots may have been arrested this morning on robbery related charges.

I hope they put these guys away.Thats a lot of problems they caused for a lot of people they stole from.

On another related note, did you see the deal with the fire truck pictures? You just gotta laugh at this point. What else are they going to dig up? That chick must have pissed somebody off in the media.

If the one they caught tonight along with the others are the same guys that broke into Slingpoint, they'll get off light. The guy they arrested tonight is 18, no record from what I can tell. I can't see his juvi record but that wont count against him in court. His case will automatically get kicked to Circuit where Judge Ishmael will say some crap like "I see good things in this kid, I think he has a bright future. I don't want his life ruined by doing lenghty jail time". I'm pretty sure he's the same judge that wouldn't but a guy back in jail who violated his release.

The pictures at the fire house is going to hurt that house more than anything. It's the video of her at the store after the robbery that is going to hurt her more than anything. Part of the conditions but on her where not to be around firearms and she can't work at the store. Seems kind of hard to not be around firearms when her husband is part owner, but whatever. She could really end up doing some time in jail. That girl got off pretty easy with having those charges amended down and only having to do house arrest.

The other one caught was sixteen. There's a bit more than they released to the media. I think it'll be interesting over the next couple weeks.

Dammit! If they're old enough to do the crime, they're old enough to do the time. Sounds to me like that's one judge that needs to lose his job.

I recently had a 16 yr plea to a 12 yr sentence so it can happen. He was looking at 20 yrs.

So looking at this from all aspects, you support the girl going to jail under this same precedent?? She knew better than to get back around guns but broke the judges orders...so she should do time right?

I don't think an actual order was ever issued for her to not be at the business. If you watch the footage from the courtroom, I believe he suggests staying away from the business, and asks if that is going to be a problem.

EDIT: I'm not clear on what you're asking me. I didn't refer to her at all. Could you rephrase what you'd like me to answer please?

EDIT #2: Yes. She assaulted another person and caused injury. I think she got off light for her little rampage.

There are actual conditions by the court that state specifically for her not to be around firearms and not to own or posses firearms and not to be employed at firearms business plus to seek psychiatric treatement.

I meant to quote someone else, you were an unlucky bystander...just like her victims.

No problem. I have to admit I was going a little nuts rereading that trying to figure out what I had written in reference to it!
