Could someone please tell me what the total added length to the end of the barrel is by a 3 lug mounted Octance 9 HD?

Are you looking for the overall length of the can with the 3 Lug adapter attached?

...or are you looking for the length from the muzzle of the 3-Lug barrel to the end of the suppressor (while the Octane is attached to the firearm)?

This would be great!  My situation is that I have the barrel (a 5" Tros) and I have the 3-lug adapter but I haven't taken possession of the can yet and I really want to know what my overall length w/ the Octane is going to be so that I can get my rail ordered before Christmas.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright...I'm an artist, not an Engineer, but let's see if you can pick up what I'm laying down here. This drawing is not to scale, although it looks pretty close now that I look at it. Drawing never was my strongest suit, but nonetheless:

With the 3 Lug attached we have overall length of 9.00"

From the rear of the 3-Lug adapter, the distance to where the back of the lugs come to rest is 0.33"

The distance (on my barrel) from the back of the lugs to the muzzle is 1.18"

So I arrived at:

    9.00" OAL

  - 0.33" to back of Lugs inside the adapter

  - 1.18" to the muzzle of the BBL

____________________________

   7.49" but let's call it 7.50"

So... the Octane 3-Lug adapter isn't adding any extra OAL in addition to the can. It's perfectly sized to do it's job; kinda goes against what one would expect by looking at it.

Pretty cool! Thanks for asking this question...now I know...
