I know this is probably posted somewhere on here, but I'd like to get a second, third, twentieth opinion.

My suppressor arrived at my local dealer and I'm about to do the Form 4 with a trust.

My dealer put in box 2A the name of my trust and the address.  On the back in box 15 Transferee Certification, he put my full name "Ed Curtis (Trustee)".  

SilencerShop says this is wrong and I need to put my trust name on that line and that I don't have to sign.   But some places on the internet that show how to fill out a Form 4, show that my dealer's way is right.

Is my dealer wrong?  Or can either way work?


ETA:  Just called ATF... Victoria answered the phone and was very nice.  She said since it's a silencer, I don't even have to fill out section 15???? But if I did, I should put the Trust name.


ETA2:  Could I just write on the line beside my name and add "EdCurtis Trust"?

On my form 4, section 15 was left blank, because its a surpressor

It should be blank for a suppressor. Just like the ATF told you. Start over with a blank form.
