Was thinking this would be an economical setup. Would have A2 as backup sight and not need a riser for the red dot. Our new Micros with the LED on the side will allow cowitness. Ones with the LED at the 6 O'Clock position will not. IMHO if you don't already have one pass so you can use standard AR mounts for your optics. Marshall

Then just get the red dot and not need a micro riser. |

Just out of couriosity what would be the benifit of using a standard mount besides the quick disconnect fetures?

The benefit is no matter what optic you are looking at you know you mount options will line up as specified. There is nothing standard about the rail height on the RRA tactical carry handle. |
