Anyone have experience with Bear Creek Arsenal? I'm looking for an entry level AR and have it narrowed down between this and an M&P15 Sport. My budget is about $600. Thanks for any info.

I've bought a complete M4 upper and 5 barrels from Classic Arms in North Carolina. I think classic had the complete M4s on sale for $440 a couple weeks ago, I thought if I had an FFL I would have bought 10 to resell.
Anyways, my M4 upper has funtioned fine. I got about a 4" group at 100 yards and that's good concidering I couldn't hardly see my front sight or the target (bad eyes). After testing it I have no reservations about useing their products.
On the Classic Arms site in the reviews for the complete kit a few people said they were getting light primer strikes and had to replace the hammer spring, but other than that they all seems happy with it.
Supposedly they are known in the barrel business, a guy posted on here a while back that he worked in a shop that builds custom (accurate) rifles and they use BCA barrels.

I ordered a  complete upper with BCG, CH 16" parkerized a week or so back from Bear Creek when they were $215 (with the LOVEBCA1 promo code). Shipping was fast in my hands in 7-10 days, good fit and finish. Nice and tight on a PSA lower. I haven't shot it yet, but I'm very pleased. I'm already looking at the 18" fluted for a different build. Unless my range tests go badly, I wouldn't hesitate to try them. I'm glad I did.

Sport.  Buddy of mine got one last year, now he swears by it.  Good rifle.

Back from the range. The Bear Creek upper was flawless and as accurate as my PSA premium FN barrel. I will definitely buy from them again. I did notice that if you have an account and leave something in your cart for a few days, they might send you a coupon code for a discount to close the deal. I got 10% off a $44 lower. I've got an "18 fluted heavy barrel sitting in my cart waiting for another discount.

Sport but I have an older 5r barreled one. Also S&W doesn't make post to drum up business.
