My dad, Charlie Stone, joined the U.S. Army in 1943. He carried a camera with him. I have arranged a timeline website in his honor.
Included are scans of Division newsletters, accounts of other veterans and their descendants, Company photos,
and his own photographs from islands including Peleliu, New Caledonia, Leyte and Honshu.

Included are items from Camp Robinson (Arkansas), Camp Rucker (Alabama, now Fort Rucker),
Maneuvers near Lebanon, Tennessee, desert training at Camp Horn (Arizona), Camp San Luis Obispo and Camp Stoneman
(California), Oahu, Guadalcanal, Peleliu, Ulithi, New Caledonia, Leyte and Honshu.
Then back home via Yokohama, Seattle, and 1946 discharge at Camp Shelby (Mississippi).
