Meh, customs don't count...

Besides, my cheap/utilitarian side is pretty strong. While I wouldn't buy an Aztek off the showroom floor, if I got a great deal on a used one, I'd gladly drive it.

Yep - it was of course poorly built, and would fall apart - but NOBODY built cool luxurious cars like Citroen. When big Citroen sedans worked, they were awesome. The suspension and ride comfort was awesome, and the interior design was super-cool. The ID and DS models both were fantastic.

The next iteration - the CX series, was even more incredible. When I was a kid, we had a CX2400i, and it was the coolest car we ever had. It also fell apart in like 2 years, and my dad replaced it with a Mercedes - but he still maintains that it was both the best and worst car he ever owned.

Actually, it had some very cutting edge design features, especially in the suspension system. Nontheless, Road & Track (or was it Car and Driver?) voted it the ugliest car on the road with absolutely no redeeming social value.
