I click on the thread to see an AMC Matador and I get a Camaro? |

Redneck rice rocket.
The car in the post above me definitely wins this showdown though. |

You clearly do not have the ability to appreciate the art that is that vehicle.

I kinda like it.
Well,if it had decent wheels and rubber and an IMSA paintjob it'd be kind of cool-and lost the hood scoop-but I see the potential. |
|
Meh, customs don't count...
Besides, my cheap/utilitarian side is pretty strong. While I wouldn't buy an Aztek off the showroom floor, if I got a great deal on a used one, I'd gladly drive it. |

That could actually be useful

The ride was smooooth and quiet. Yep - it was of course poorly built, and would fall apart - but NOBODY built cool luxurious cars like Citroen. When big Citroen sedans worked, they were awesome. The suspension and ride comfort was awesome, and the interior design was super-cool. The ID and DS models both were fantastic. The next iteration - the CX series, was even more incredible. When I was a kid, we had a CX2400i, and it was the coolest car we ever had. It also fell apart in like 2 years, and my dad replaced it with a Mercedes - but he still maintains that it was both the best and worst car he ever owned. |
