$595 shipped. Pistol eligible. If they are correct in stating they came from Colt as lowers only. I doubt Colt did takeoffs at the factory level. M4 CARBINE marked. About 20 units left. "This batch is marked M4, we are receiving just the lowers from Colt." from my email inquire. |

I'm thinking of downsizing a little, so I'm really trying to restrain myself from getting one of these. You guys are making this hard, especially considering what the Brownells spares lowers were selling for on GB not too long ago. If I wait just a little while, they'll sell out and I can start kicking myself in the ass.

Same here. I got my order in pretty early on in the 3/11 crew. FFL sent in his info about 10 minutes later. I got the shipping email 3/23 and activity showed the lower was in UPS possession 3/24. I have no idea how I want to build it out. On the one hand, the colt pistol as a pistol is kinda rare, so that would be cool. On the other hand, back around the time the '94 ban was looming, I remember my dad getting a colt CAR-15. I seem to remember it being a 16" upper with collapsible stock and carbine length gas. It would be cool having a similar setup to what he had. |

No where near as bad as some of the pics I have seen online but they are still there. |

All said/done, between 3 of us that shoot together we bought 8, all look near identical to my pic above. First 5 were LE prefix, last 3 CR. All have the "L" handicap |

All have the "L" handicap Here’s a pic, like I said no where near as bad as some. It’s under “safe”. I forgot to look but pretty sure both of mine have the handicapped “L” and both are CR prefix. It also looks like I have 1/16 of a selector stop on one side.  Attached File |

I got mine. So far I am less than satisfied. The good: M4 CARBINE marked. The bad: Magpul grip and Magpul trigger guard. Fucking AU using pictures that is not the item being sold. I already replaced that junk (grip and trigger guard) really fast with Colt parts. Typical Colt, less than great quality. Mine would be a blem if sold by another company. Typical Colt though. My only blem points are the pencil lead type scratch under the USA and the selector stop not 100% milled off. TIME TO FIND OUT IF AU LIED ABOUT IT COMING FROM COLT AS A LOWER.  |
