I had the pleasure to attend my first handgun course with this training company. Let me say that I came out of this course not just feeling comfortable with my weapon, I felt confident in my ability to assess a situation and use my sidearm under varying circumstances. Glen, at Independence Training knows how to train people! I purchased a four hour session of private instruction for $150, if you can find a better deal then I'll give you my Dillo. Before this course I thought I was semi-proficient with my handgun, but knew that training was necessary; I just did not have $1000 to dish out. Lets be honest, who does have that much money to spend on training on a regular basis? At Independence Training they understand this and tailor very affordable courses for the average person. Don't let the price fool you because it is on par, if not better than the equivalent $1000 dollar courses. I will continue practicing the skills I learned and will definitely be training with Independence Training again in the future. I highly recommend them if you want an affordable, personable and useful course. Overall, I am now confident that I will be able to act on my own under stressful and chaotic circumstances if I continue to practice and improve my skills.
