That sounds funky! I saw a guy from KY at the A6 championship decked and driving a g35 with grey/blue paint scheme to match the KY Wildcats. He even had a Techwear shirt done up in Wildcat logos, his CR pouches, yep dillon blue. I think he went to school there

My IDPA gun and USPSA Limited until I buld a 40 longslide. 9MM using an SV frame and Caspian slide. http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/7293/sn850150zf7.jpg [ Is the SV legal in IDPA ???? I thought it had to have a bushing barrel? (I shoot uspsa so I'm not up on IDPA rules) |

Quoted: It's 9mm, so he is shooting ESP, which I believe doesn't need the bushing barrel. That is a CDP rule. I could be way off though.Quoted: My IDPA gun and USPSA Limited until I buld a 40 longslide. 9MM using an SV frame and Caspian slide. http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/7293/sn850150zf7.jpg [ Is the SV legal in IDPA ???? But... check the first photo more closely, the SV has a standard barrel with a Briley bushing. |

I shoot a Bedell Open 5", the wifey shoots a shorty. both are 38 super She has a C-more, I recently went to a JPoint. Her gun runs 100% over 25K rounds. Mine has developed an extraction issue recently, not sure if my breechface has worn out of spec, Changing extractor hasn't helped. Dan Bedell has asked me to send it back so he can check everything over, I haven't had a chance yet, as the gun is running 100% with the Jpoint and a Comp extractor. He has been very helpful, always answers all my emails quickly and stands behind his gun If I was going to get another one, I would definately go with a Bedell again http://www.walshimaging.com/image/bedell%20jpoint_3.jpg |

He seemed like a great guy and his attention to detail after the sale was what I found to be so impressive. |

I might have to get it Ion-Bonded or Hardchromed this winter. |

i have always wanted to shoot something like that, do you use factory ammo or reloads? (i am a dummy on these things) Except for a few production division 9mm guys, I don't know any USPSA/IPSC shooters that use factory ammo. Quoted:
so do you use lighter loads? will race guns function with factory ammo"? I run factory ammo in my .40 TS (Limited). It functions 100% with the more rounded profiles found on Blazer Brass and Federal ammo, and both comfortably make PF (clocked in at 177 at the OH sectional early this month). I will likely be loading once my current backlog of .40 is shot up - I just don't have the dies et al for .40 yet, since it is my only gun in that caliber. With .40 being easily available at wally world all this year, I haven't had a problem getting reasonably-priced ammo to feed the TS. There are a few other Limited shooters around here that shoot factory - most either did it when they started (like me), or do it on occassion when they haven't had time to load a new batch. Open guys, on the other hand, pretty much have to reload. |

Quoted:
so do you use lighter loads? will race guns function with factory ammo"? Actually most reloaded ammo for Open Division race guns exceed factory specs by a bit. .38 Super, Super Comp, 9mm major, 9X25 Dillion are all loaded hotter than factory. This is to make major power factor (bullet weight times velocity divided by one thousand, with a minimum floor of 165 for major), and also to make the comp work better. Many open guns will recoil more with slower ammo, because the comp isn't as effective with a round that doesn't produce enough gas. Limited, L-10, Production ammo is usually a little closer to factory specs, although most people still reload. |

B-man i have always wanted to shoot something like that, do you use factory ammo or reloads? (i am a dummy on these things) Haven't checked this thread in awhile It will work with factory ammo if you want to shoot Minor. 9mm brass is really tough as I've loaded to over 180PF and not noticed big pressure signs. I reload everything due to cost and the Need for Major loads. 124/125 bullets are best for Major IMO. I use N330 or N350 mostly with either bullet. Practice loads are usually 115s with Shilouette due to cost. B-Man |

Looks like a lot of the pin guns around here |

Talk about a dead thread.
Here is a picture of my limited gun, an STi Edge. First picture is as it came, second picture is mid-rebuilt. The work is being done by Bobby Keigans @ Freedom Gunworks. I sent it to him to have the slide lightened, rollmarks removed, trigger job done and have the frame & all small parts coated in his Atrinite finish. I also have a set of 4 tuned magazines coming from him. Then the gun will go to Daniel Hidalgo @ Plate-tacular, LLC to have the slide finished. Anyway, on to the pictures.
