Do some of you shoot the 77gr SMK at all yard lines? Kind of a keep it simple thing. Or is it best to use a 69gr at the 200 & 300 yard lines and

80 grainers for the 600 yard line?

I get issued 77gr SMK's so I just roll with it. I am in the process of testing some 80's, 82's and 90's for 600. The team just got back from the Fleet matches so we'll put the minds together and come up with a plan for Perry.

When I'm out of 69's I will shoot only 77s. It simplifies your life.

I shoot 77 SMK's at 200 and 300. I have done very well with them Sir.

i have shot 77s all the way
on calm days it is fine
i like to use 80s though as wind tends to show and i have had very good luck with that at 600

I shoot 69's @ 100, 200, and 300 yds. I have goofed and shot them @ 600 yards as well with not too bad of a result as it thankfully wasn't windy that day. I use 80's @ 600 yds. I never shot a 77 and most likely won't as I have a good supply of 69's and 80's on hand. It ain't broke, so I ain't fixin' it!

I like to keep it simple and shoot 77's out to 600. Accuracy is as good as or better than the 80's, just gotta keep an eye on the wind.

FWIW Shawn McKenna used 77gr Lapua's last year to win the NTI at Perry.

I also believe that Dennis DeMille also shot 77s all the way when he won the Service Rifle Champ.
