So a thought process from the USMC days,
What do you do to improve the conditioning such that, you can manipulate your rifle when you need too and if you don't have anywhere to run and gun to practice. also show pics of what your using http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p418/Nic_Cassel/2013-12-12211620_zpsb82dc15a.jpg[/img] |

use an open doorway as it were a barricade for the Viking Tactic Highsmith rifle drill... practice the hand and support knee positions as you transition from side to side... safety is applied, and hand from grip takes position on the front of the mag well as you transition to other side, remove safety... Kyle's North Carolina matches always incorporated some of these tactics...

Lots of fail in this pic, get rid of that bipod while you are at it.
You say you were a Marine huh, well it's showing right now. Get some dummy rounds practice reloads and malfunction clearances while under a shot timer. What Kyle Lambs three little kittens drill |

I dry fire in the back yard. I have a vtac barricade set up also work around my kids sandbox (about the height of a curb) and a large tree in the back yard I second the recommendation of dummy rounds. Crappy pic of my blaster. Franken lower with BCM 16" S/S upper sporting 13" vtac handguard. Scope is Accupoint 1-4. And my home brew kydex gear. |
